Location great as son visiting his girlfriend who is at the university hence why we chose this property. However, we were met with problems from the start. The door code given did not work (and was the same one the member of staff had who came out to meet us) and the key was not in the letterbox as it said it would be! We had to make contact with Toast and they sent someone out who got us into the property and was very helpful and apologetic. Have never had any problems getting into an airbnb before. It was extremely cold on arrival and when we tried to put all the storage heaters on it became apparent that not all of them worked - in particular the main living area where we had to sit in our coats it was so cold. Some lightbulbs weren’t working and some plug sockets too. In the kitchen the toaster is a 4 slice machine but one side does not work. There are only two bowls (and one is chipped) and not enough cutlery/crockery for 4 people. Maintenance/replacement is required.

Broadband was poor at just 6mb and didn’t have any in first 2 days, definitely not as described

The flat is comfortable and welcoming - we really enjoyed our stay there. I had a few problems when I arrived but Toast Lettings were very responsive. The local bus routes make it easy to get into town and local taxis know where it is. A short walk from the university makes it great for visiting. A minus for us was that the kitchen has no coffee maker and the internet service was poor whilst we were there but we would stay again because Toast Lettings really tried to help, even at night. Their service was great. Thank you!
