Beautiful villa surrounded by trees. Short stroll down to hiriketiya or dikwella beach. Beautiful pool that kept the kids busy and monkey visits morning and afternoon to the surrounding trees and garden (which some people may not love - but our kids certainly did!). Best breakfast we have had - so good we asked the chefs, hironi and guyan to cook for us most nights too - some of the best Sri Lankan food we have had on our trip. Staff were great and Donna was able to organise transport and jungle safari trips for us at short notice.

Oh my goodness- This place is amazing. I have stayed in many many places over the years and this is even better than the photos. It’s so fresh, very clean and a lovely relaxed home in a brilliant location. 5 mins walk from Hiri beach. Loved the monkeys visiting the pool occasionally for a drink - so cute! They had thought of everything - so responsive too. The staff are incredible. The breakfast delicious. The pool is divine and cool - That’s rare! We were just so happy here. I could rave on and on. One thing to note- very sadly bookingcom has a fake listing on this property and people are turning up and loosing their money. Book through air BnB to be safe.

Shaka House was everything we hoped, and imagined, it would be! Donna's communication in every respect was fantastic! Thankyou Donna, much appreciated. Shaka House is comfortable & well appointed. The pool, and outdoor areas, are pristine. You can't but help relax. The House is walking distance to 2 beaches and a huge variety of restaurants, cafes & bars. Sarath was such a wonderful house keeper. He really couldn't do enough for us to make us comfortable . The chefs: Hiruni & Sara cooked the most delicious breakfasts, we loved them all! A great way to start each day. My family & I loved staying with you. You ALL made our stay just perfect! I will definitely be recommending this gorgeous property!!

This is such a lovely beach house, located in a perfect spot between two beaches and within walking distance to bars and restaurants. Donna (I think, Tammy’s sister) was such a fabulous host, providing so many great recommendations and being very kind and kind and flexible to my young family. The pool in the backyard was pristine and a cool reprieve and the home cooked breakie in the morning was some of the tastiest food we have had in Sri Lanka. The home itself is tastefully appointed and with a good eye for detail and comfort. We were grateful for the stay and would love to return. Thank you.

Die Unterkunft war der Wahnsinn! Unser Highlight in Sri Lanka. Das Frühstück jeden Tag frisch gemacht war perfekt und 5 Minuten zum Strand. Sarath war so lieb zu uns und hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt :)
