We had a wonderful stay at Gill's place. The apartment was easy to access as there was a key lock-box. It was very clean, and even nicer than on the pictures. Gill was very responsive and she suggested things to check out in the area. We'd love to stay again!

Beautiful place with so much room. Gill had very kindly left us milk and biscuits- always nice. The apartment is well situated for the mounds of things to see around the area. We only had a short stay but managed to visit one of the Caverns, Castleton and Bakewell. The fish and chip shop had been recommended and it was worth queuing for.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Gill's apartment and would absolutely recommend. The flat is well laid out with 2 really large ensuite bedrooms, perfect for our needs and the beds are so comfortable, we slept really well. The kitchen had everything we needed and the lounge dinner is very comfortable. The weather wasn't the best while we were there so we didn't use the patio but I imagine this would be lovely in the summer. It was nice to hear and see the birds from the lounge window. The location is perfect, in the centre of Tideswell. Very easy to access and parking spot right outside, easy to walk to lots of places to eat, we loved the Horse and Jockey, Sals Italian and Elliots chippy. Also very much recommend Tindalls deli and bakery and the lovely book shop, Peak Volumes. We hiked from Grindleford up to Millstone Edge for spectacular views and back down Padley Gorge one day and Castleton for a muddy, rainy walk along stunning Cavedale. All in easy reach of Tideswell.
