Overall we have no complaints regarding our stay, the grandchildren (and adults!) had great fun in the games room which we frequented quite a lot as the weather was pretty bad during our stay. The property was well equipped and warm, we were surprised to find that there were no board games/books/maps in the property, luckily we bought our own. Also the zip together beds were quite large as doubles and left little spare floor space in the bedrooms, especially the ground floor bedroom. We enjoyed our stay at Amberleigh House, Hurdlow very much and would hope to return sometime in the future.

We stayed at Amberleigh House whilst attending a wedding nearby. The house was very well appointed, clean with everything you need for a good stay! The rooms are fairly small but beds are comfortable and you don’t spend much time in there anyway. We contacted Peak Venues before our stay to ask for an early check in so that we could get our little one down for a nap and they were very happy to accommodate us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return or try another Peak Venues property.

We were two families with two teenagers staying for a weekend. The house was very comfortable and very well equipped. There was plenty of room for 6 people. The location was fabulous, it was really peaceful with lovely views. It was also easy to get into Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock. The Royal Oak, just down the road, does a fabulous Sunday roast. We would love to stay again, maybe for a bit longer next time.
