We only stayed one night as we were on business in Plymouth. Wish we could have stayed longer. Emma’s place was a perfect retreat. Location and view are beautiful. The bed lovely and comfortable. The place is beautifully decorated and well thought out. Emma had provided welcome gifts to help us settle in and the place was just what we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Emma's place was truly idyllic, with a beautiful view of the river side. The lodge was enchanting :-very attractive and really did feel like a retreat with a wood burning fire, helpfully prepared to use immediately. The hospitable little touches: wine in the fridge, chocolate, coffee and cafetiere all really lifted it to a five star stay. We would definitely visit again in the future.

This was such a lovely short weekend away. The place was beautiful just as pictured. We walked to and from the local town where we had tea at the Passage in recommend by the host. There was tea and coffee, beer and wine and some snacks for us when we arrived which was a great touch. Would definitely return and recommend!

Emma’s place is beautiful. A little oasis overlooking the River Exe on the edge of Topsham. Really convenient location for an overnight stay on my way to Exeter. It was perfect and had a few little extra luxuries which were greatly appreciated. Emma really looked after me and provided great recommendations and even a little bit of extra brekkie. The bed was divinely comfortable and I slept soundly. It was easy to get to the university by bus too so public transport is not an issue. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Just a shame it wasn’t longer!
