Lovely stay over bank holiday weekend, cottage is lovely and peaceful, easy to find and stunning views. Anna welcomed us and gave some great recommendations. We had a problem with the heating the first night but as soon as I messaged the problem was sorted right away. Cosy & relaxing stay, you feel secluded but are close enough to everything. We explored Kit Hill Park & if looking to dine out we had the best meal we have ever had in ‘The Springer Spaniel’ which was a 10 minute drive away. Anna went above & beyond filling the hot tub for us & we had private use all weekend. It’s a shame the weather wasn’t better to enjoy the outdoor seating area & view but even just relaxing inside the cottage listening to the rain outside was bliss for my partners’ birthday. Thank you Anna for a lovely weekend.

Great location for exploring Exmoor and Dartmoor, good central location that allows access to Cornwall without heavy traffic local to the area.

Lovely place in a lovely location. Was right in the countryside but near to amenities which is great. The place was lovely clean and tidy! We will definitely be going back

Anna was there to welcome us, the Smithy had everything you need and amazing views. A fantastic place which kept us warm and cosy during some not so wonderful Cornish weather! Definitely will return
