Great beach house. Close to restaurants, beach and amenities.

Shipwreck house is a wreck, from the wet floor (a leak somewhere?) to the lack of amenities, to the bizarre location and how dilapidated the unit was. There is nothing redeeming about this house except for it's hot tub which is still rather small and the kitchen which miraculously had enough plates/cookware for us. I've stayed at better places in Ocean Shores before, and I'm sure once this shipwreck of a house is removed, a better place to stay and visit will replace it.

Penny was very communicative which was awesome. The place itself was lacking in a few areas. It isn’t clear in the description that you are directly next to the Comfort Inn Hotel. Because the property lines are touching we would see people from the hotel walking around and smoking from the kitchen or dining area windows. From the dining area window you can look directly at the balconies of three rooms so privacy isn’t quite what I’d like. The house is a bit outdated but the layout was nice for our group of 7. Unfortunately there is only a table that seats 6 and the seating in the living room was only enough for 4. Because it’s pet friendly there was a strong urine smell coming from the living room carpet which I did alert Penny to. I didn’t feel like the place was worth the nearly $1000 we spent for two night but it wasn’t the worst place either. Over all, the airbnb was okay but probably wouldn’t stay again. Penny was very responsive over our holiday stay which was appreciated.

Nice little unique place. Fantastic location! Really enjoyed the hot tub.

Had a great time. The pass through bedroom is a little awkward if you don’t know who you’re sharing it with all that well. But it was as advertised. Also, the walk to the beach is beautiful!
