All the amenities were broken. They said there would be a return on costs but have yet to hear from them. I will not be renting from this company again

WARNING: Do not book this place until things are fixed . I read the reviews before I booked that all mentioned issues with the hot tub and other amenities. I booked with hopes that these things would be fixed by now... I was wrong! I messaged the host immediately after booking and told them what I had seen in the reviews and that I wanted to make sure things have been fixed (especially the hot tub, since that was one of the main reasons we booked this house). The response I got reassured me "all things would be fixed". We arrived and immediately checked the hot tub... it was COLD AND BROKEN. I immediately called the "Vacasa help line" and spoke with someone from the company. They told me a maintenance man would be coming out ASAP. We lost a whole night waiting for the person who never showed. The next morning we found ants in the bed, the fire place broken, dryer broken, and overall the condition of the house POOR. Vacasa called me in the morning to say no maintenance was availab.

Overall, we had a really wonderful stay. However, there were some key issues that negatively impacted our trip. 1) Safety - The baby gate advertised did not fit the stairs. This was a huge issue with a 16 month old. We had to move a cabinet from downstairs up to block the stairs which didn’t work great and was a big pain. This was after I had reached out earlier in the week before our stay inquiring specifically about the baby stuff. 2) Hot Tub - After reading a previous review that said the hot tub was frozen over and unusable I reached out before our stay to confirm the hot tub was usable, ready, and in good shape. The hot tub was dirty, the water smelled very bad, and was at 43 degrees when we arrived. Not good and rendered it unusable. 3) Miscellaneous - The light in the kitchen above the sink didn’t work so we were doing dishes in the dark. There were no blinds in the second bedroom upstairs which made the guest who was supposed to use it too uncomfortable. A toilet was dirty

This house is beautiful in so many ways- large vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows on the western facing wall, open concept main floor, and plenty of room for activities; not to mention the panoramic ocean views. The house is great, but it’s unfortunately not very well maintained by the local operation. I could only give 3 stars because I arrived to this house and the hot tub (a highly desired amenity for this location) was broken and frozen solid, which I was not notified about prior to arrival. Additionally, the fridge had a distinct fish smell and there is no way to turn on the upstairs fireplace. The customer service for Vacasa Western WA was very responsive through the app, but I never once heard from their “local operator”, so none of the issues we reported were looked at or fixed during our visit. If we had experienced more severe issues than the unavailable amenities, this would have been a significant issue. For the price of the house, I expect more. Lovely otherwise

Location was amazing and house design was lovely as pictured. We could walk to the beach from the back porch! Only disappointment was a couple maintenance related issues -- the high-end integrated fridge in the kitchen was broken and a basic fridge was placed in the living area to use as a replacement (it worked, but detracted from the kitchen design), plus the door handle had a tendency to come off the front door. I hope the owners keep this place in good condition, because it's an amazing spot otherwise.
