This is my primary home, and I built it as a perfect base to enjoy the Colorado life, while having the peace and calm to focus on work or enjoy a cozy day in. A lot about my place is very intentional, and I hope you enjoy it too! The area is great for cycling and walks. The bike trail system and Avery Brewing are just around the corner! Boulder and the mountains are a short drive. If you don't see your desired dates available, I might be able to open them upon request, just let me know! Both bedrooms in the upper level have beds with 800 Thread Count Cotton Linen, and cozy duvets. The larger room has a queen-size bed, the other room has a full-size bed. The upper level also has a fully equipped bathroom with shower and bathtub. The second living room on the lower floor is my "music room". It has a few musical instruments that you are welcome to play, if you know what you're doing ;) Please, I ask you to always place the instruments back in their original places (don't leave them laying on the floor). I also have an inflatable twin floor mattress that you're welcome to use. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic utensils (cutlery, plates, pots, pans, mugs, glasses, bowls, etc.). There's a stove/oven and a refrigerator. If you're a coffee or tea drinker, you're welcome to use my several coffee alternatives or drink from the tea selection I have available. The house has central heating, a wood-burning stove, and a wall-mounted A/C. Note that the A/C works well to cool down the lower floor, but for the upper rooms you may need to open the windows and use the fan to circulate air on hot days. You are welcome to use the wood-burning stove, but please ask for our guidance if you are not experienced with lighting up a wood fire! In the living room, I have a selection of board games that you're also welcome to play! (I currently have Catan, Chess, Cards Against Humanity, Uno, and a couple playing card decks.) Finally, the house has a spacious, private and fully-fenced north-facing backyard where you can relax. If you want to smoke (whatever it is you smoke), please do it out in the backyard and never inside the house. Infants are welcome! Please notice that I don't have young children myself, so the house is not 100% prepared for it (e.g., no baby gates on the stairs). The house is located in a neighborhood called Gunbarrel, it's a quiet place just outside of town and perfect for road/gravel cycling (there are many roads and trails on flat terrain). It's pretty easy to explore plenty from here: • Avery Brewing (Local Brewery): 15min walk • Downtown Boulder: 15min drive • Within a30min drive: Denver, Flatirons, Eldorado Canyon, multiple restaurants and shops, and endless climbing, hiking, running and cycling locations! • Within a 60min drive: Rocky Mountain National Park, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Eldora Mountain Ski Resort, multiple trailheads and access points to the Colorado backcountry.
