The location is good, right near the beach and a 20-25 min walk into Margate. The outdoor space is nice and hosts were very friendly. One thing to note is that, although you get your own section of the house, you walk through the main house entrance to get into the room, and there is just a thin door between your bed and the main hallway, so it doesn’t feel very private. The garden is lovely and there is a huge hot tub, but due to the size it takes a long time to heat, so be prepared to give up a whole afternoon to heat it up!

We had a lovely stay at Emma’s place for a long weekend. The location is great, with a 15min walk to either Margate or Westgate. We also used the hot tub, which was a lovely way to spend an evening (you do have to dedicate a good few hours to it warming up but it’s very worth it). Emma is lovely and gave us some recommendations for places to eat before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a seaside weekend away!

Lovely warm welcome. Was comfortable and enjoyed staying here. Hot tub took a while to heat up and keep feeding the fire so if you are planning on using then have a whole late afternoon/ evening free but was 40° once heated. Lovely! Only thing personally, it could have had a tv for the evening or mornings to pop on. Will definitely visit again. Thank you
