Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space- a cabin in the woods. Get away from it all and find peace and privacy at this storybook cabin in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Nestled overlooking a babbling creek, this cabin is a place for basking in the scenery of a lush woodland grove and observing passing wildlife. The cabin sits at the end of a country road on a remote property shared with only one other cabin. You'll have a small beach area at the base of tall trees by the creek where you can sit with your morning coffee, a good book in the afternoon, or a glass of local wine at golden hour. Green Cabin is the second cabin on the property. It sits at the back of the property, surrounded by redwoods, and overlooking the river below. Enjoy cooking dinner on the Traeger BBQ on the patio, and then relax on the outdoor couch or chairs, heat lamp for the chilly evenings. The interior is a striking, light-filled space where white walls reflect the sunshine, skylights bring the tree canopy indoors, and beamed ceilings add charm and atmosphere. At the heart of the home is a contemporary living room where you can curl up on foggy mornings and evenings in the warmth of a pellet stove. The adjacent kitchenette is compact but beautifully equipped with appliances and all the essential cookware. The kitchenette does not have a dishwasher, oven or stove, but it does have a microwave, hot plate and toaster oven.

The Green Cabin is truly a sanctuary away from city life. It’s hidden away in a very rural location with easy access to the stream, community kids play area and all around nature. The cabin is spotless! It offers comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen is perfectly stocked. Overall, a cozy slice of heaven. The minimalist decor is soothing, each item is thoughtfully placed and functional. Laurel from the start through check out was a thorough communicator.
This is our second time at this most peaceful and beautiful cabin. The cabin was exactly how we remembered it. The host was just as friendly and responsive too. Our kids really loved being next to the fire, finding banana slugs, and hanging out in the back porch. This is truly a lovely place to disconnect and reconnect with self and/or loved ones. Highly recommend!
A really beautiful cabin with amazing trees and nature all around. The bedroom ceiling is really tight if you are over 5'7 but the bed was so comfortable. Great host, wonderful area!
To say this location is amazing is an understatement. Very well kept and decorated cottage with the most comfortable bedding! Lovely surrounding area. It was restful and magical while still being close to hikes and other spots. Hopefully, we’ll be back.
My family and I had a great time! We enjoyed our stay, felt comfortable! Even with the rain we got to enjoy the playground around and the creek! We would come back again!

This is a quiet, mountain neighborhood. Please be mindful of noise, as it can carry in the mountains. The home is at the end of a rural, private road, but located just 20 minutes from town.
There is a community playground close to the cabin. There are rules around using this playground. If you do use it, please inform the host so we can be aware and take all precautions necessary. There is a zip line and this can only be used by children 60 pounds or less. The playground is a lot of fun but please adult supervision at all times.
The property is about 20 minutes to the closest grocery store or gas station. 10 of those minutes are driving down mountain roads. No food delivery services available. When possible, stop by the store and stock up with groceries before you arrive. We have some of the basics at the house for you! You will want to drive to this home in the day time, at least your first trip down.
You will want to be very mindful when turning onto the road from the highway. If it doesn’t feel safe to you to cross over the highway use your best judgment and make a U-turn so that you are turning right into the road and when exiting, turn right and make a U-turn when you’re traveling home if crossing the highway does not feel safe.
There is plenty of parking at the home. The home is set at the end of the road.
