We were familiar with the area when we booked the lower floor of this two floor home. The lower unit has 2 BR, 2 bathrooms and open kitchen/living area that was perfect for us! The lower unit also has its own deck with outdoor dining set that was our main hangout when we weren’t on the water. Jessica met us when we arrived and provided clear instructions and explanations. She is a delightful woman who is also an animal lover! The available kayaks and SUPs were in good shape and the launch ramp made it a bit easier for entry. We will be back to this place!

The house looks just like the pics-could use some updates .The place was very clean and the house manager Jessica was fantastic. The views are awesome and we spent lots of time outside. Most concerns were delt with in a timely manner and Gary was attentive to concerns raised. That being said-the lower level had bugs-we understand it is an older home on a tropical island-but we had several instances of large roaches falling from the ceiling-termites hatching in travel bags and crawling on beds ,and from under beds and falling on sleepers. We were told the outside had been sprayed but nothing done for the inside. I was awaken one night with a large roach crawling on my arm. There's also no AC - they do provide several fans to circulate the air-but it is hot and humid.

It’s all about the bay here, and getting out to enjoy the water! Water toys are provided, coffee/filters are not. If you are tall or sensitive to noise, the lower level is not your best option (head clearance requires conscientiousness, and your ceiling is the floor of the guests above you with very little to no insulation, so your sound experience is 100% at their mercy). The on-site property caretakers were wonderful: kind, attentive, and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We had a relaxing stay and really enjoyed talking to Jessa a native to the island. Great information about the ocean & the sea creatures. Basement apartment has little lower ceilings. We enjoyed the daily sunset & ate outside on our porch twice a day. Kitchen had good equipment to use which is appreciated since we cooked in most the time.

Absolutely fabulous stay at Lawai'a Sea Lodge!!! More magnificent than we could have possibly imagined. Cannot wait to visit again. The accommodations were exactly as stated, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Jessa, our on-site manager, is a beautiful human being, and Girlfriend (Jessa's pup) may end up in our Christmas card this year. Will definitely return and recommend!!!! Aloha!!!!
