Set in the Idyllic Northumbrian Countryside, The Ascot is a new holiday home with all the amenities you need to relax. Take quiet forest walks, visit Hadrian's wall, Roman towns, explore local golf clubs, wedding venues, & historic stately homes. The Ascot is your home-away-from-home with picturesque walking & cycling routes on your doorstep. With it's own pub, café & gym, this boutique holiday park has everything you need to get away from it all. Families & Dogs welcome. The caravan has a main bedroom with a double bed, wardrobes and storage cupboards. It also has another room consisting of two single beds and storage. The living room and kitchen is open plan with the living room offering a double sofa bed.

Beautiful location surrounded by trees , property spotless inside and cosy. Friendly on site staff , no noise in the evenings so a great nights sleep. 15 minutes drive to Hexham and a few days spent visiting Vindolanda, The sill and Homesteads - so plenty of Hadrian’s wall and Roman history. Ashley was pro-active, communicative and very helpful. A wonderful host ☺️
Beautiful setting and lovely accommodation. The dogs loved the place, as did the humans. The place was clean, comfortable and cosy. The site itself is about 20mins drive from Hexham where you can find anything and everything you could need.

If you are reading this review because you are debating booking like we were... BOOK! The Ascot was devine, everything was as described and the site and surroundings were peaceful and made for the perfect relaxing getaway. Ashley was so responsive and proactive as a host too! If you have a car it's easy to get to little places nearby for food, however The Ascot has everything you need to be able to eat in too (with a big Tesco in Corbridge about a 20 min drive). We've stayed in lots of Air b&bs both in the UK and Europe and I would always say that one of our personal favourite things is feeling like there have been little touches made by the host to make it a homely stay for us. Ashley and Chris deffo did this with milk in the fridge and good coffee on the side for us to turn up to! As the welcome pack states feedback is always appreciated and I would love to provide some constructive criticism, but I honestly have none! The place was amazing and we will deffo be back!

The Ascot is within Springhouse Boutique Holiday Park, a beautiful scene surrounded by the Slaley Forests with a mixture of private residential holiday homes and holiday lets. It has a gym, pub, café, and children's outdoor play area along with it's own private woodland. Ever peaceful, Springhouse is a cut above any other Holiday Park.
The Ascot has it's own private parking. For those guests with more than one vehicle there is additional parking on the park. There are a number of country pubs within short distance. Historic Corbridge and Hexham are a 15 minute drive away.
