Welcome to a delightful retreat for four just a short walk from the centre of Ambleside. Combining contemporary accommodation with a welcoming and friendly feel, you’re sure to feel right at home here. With a lovely living room and fantastic dining kitchen on the ground floor, and two bedrooms and two shower rooms upstairs, everything has been thought of. Enjoying a convivial courtyard setting, there is private parking for one car - a rare treat so close to the centre of Ambleside. With the town centre so close, why not leave the car where it is and head to explore on foot? There are a great choice of outdoor and independent shops to look around and lots of quirky cafes for a bite of lunch. Try out the indoor climbing wall or why not hire a motor boat for a day on the water? Take a scenic drive to the magnificent Langdale Valley; head up Lingmoor Fell for stunning views of The Lakes or enjoy a picnic at picturesque Blea Tarn. Why not head to Keswick? Often considered the adventure capital of the Northern Lakes, sign up for an activity with one of the local adventure companies. Try raft building, ghyll scrambling or take on the Via Ferrata at Honister Slate mine if you’ve got a head for heights! The front door leads you straight into the bright, welcoming living room. Relax on the sofas in front of the feature electric fire, there’s a Smart TV for entertainment. The living room also has wonderful views towards the popular Fairfield Horshoe, a must for serious fell walkers. Continue through to the modern dining kitchen, ideal for sociable mealtimes. The fantastic kitchen is well-equipped and the chefs in your group are sure to love cooking up a feast in here. There’s an electric oven and hob, fridge, handy microwave, dishwasher and plenty of useful cooking equipment. There’s also a washing machine should you need to make use of that during your stay and a freezer can be found in the under stairs cupboard. Up on the first floor you’ll find the two spacious bedrooms. The lovely king-size room has a wooden wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage as well as its own en-suite shower room with WC, a real treat. The super-king-size bedroom has fantastic views of the Fairfield Horsehoe and also has a wardrobe and chest of drawers. This bedroom can be made up as a twin upon request. Also on the first floor is the fantastic family shower room. With a WC and luxurious modern shower, it’s ideal for reinvigorating tired muscles after a day out exploring. Outside in the shared courtyard is a private parking space, a real bonus so close to the centre of Ambleside.
