Clean multi level House. Great location for Bakewell and roads out for touring the Peak District. Well equipped kitchen , lovely top floor main bedroom
Overall a great stay. Really good location just a quick walk into town. It feels really peaceful overlooking the front gardens. The only thing that would have made it better would have been the double bed frame is very squeaky and moves and doesn’t feel that safe and if one of us moved in the night it woke the other up.
Richard was fabulous, extremely attentive and went out of his way to ensure you will have a pleasant stay. Nice touch to phone and email prior to arriving to ensure everything is perfect for your arrival - including local suggestions. Would highly recommend. Note - the photographs don’t do this lovely cottage justice, it’s really nice! Very lovely and the host really goes the extra mile.
Excellent location for access to walking in the Peaks. More locally, it is just a few minutes walk into town, where there are numerous pubs. For those interested in running, Parkrun is just a 5 minute drive from the town.
We had a fantastic stay at Richard's place. He was very communicative and responsive when necessary and had nice local recommendations. The cottage was very cozy and just what we had hoped for our stay in the Peak District.
