Instead of staying 2 hours from everything you want to do on the island, consider our 1400 Sqft new home as base for all your adventures. You'll be located in the middle of the island, within range of South Point, Na’alehu, South Kona and Volcanos National Park in addition to unique Hawaiian beaches: pebble, black sand and green sand beach. NEW custome home features a custom kitchen with quartz countertops, modern bathrooms and all new memory foam mattresses. 5 beds, sleeps 8. When our family is off-island we like make our home available to allow others to experience all that the South side of Hawaii Island has to offer. The home is 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. A large kitchen with island is setup for entertaining you and your guests during your stay. NEW as of March 2024... an outdoor shower, usable by all guests. Enjoy a unique Hawaiian shower experience surrounded by native lava rock harvested from our property and built by an authentic Samoan fire-dancer/rock wall builder. *MBR is King bed, 60" smart TV, and has an on-suite bath w/ shower & laundry. *BR2 is a Queen bed with a 32" smart TV *BR3 is normally setup as 2 twin beds, but you can pull these together to make a King (we have both twin and king bedding), with a 42" smart TV. *Living Room sofa is a Queen size pullout bed. Dining table is set for 4, there are fold-up chairs in BR3 closet that an be added for 6 at the table, plus 2 stools at the kitchen island. (seating for 8). The kitchen boasts quartz counters and custom cabinets. Oven with range, full size fridge, dishwasher, toaster oven...well stocked kitchen with utensils, cookware and dinnerware. For coffee we have a drip coffee pot, a french press, a pour-over, aero-press and a bean grinder and espresso machine and a hot water pot...lots of methods to choose from. There's nothing like a good cup of Hawaii coffee while watching the sunrise. Wifi is available and is very fast for if you have to do any work (while trying not to be distracted while staring at South Point and the ocean.) The house is perfect for family, Andrew provided everything you need. You can cook anytime with all the pans and utensils available in the kitchen. The rooms are very nice and clean. The view of the is beautiful specially sunset and in the morning where you can see the ocean view and clouds. Our stay is very memorable while staying in this beautiful home. It’s very quiet and it’s close to Kona,Volcano national Park, Hilo and Puna. The view of this house is the most spectacular, you can see the entire view of the Ocean in the balcony. The ocean breeze is perfectly fine to experience and to relax. It gets cold at night but it’s very comfortable. The house is very clean , organized, you can also wash your clothes provided with detergents. My family is very satisfied in this house and much more affordable than any hotels in the area. Thank you Andrew for this beautiful and one of a kind home and for your fast communication.
What an absolutely beautiful place it is! Everything in this house was so tastefully decorated, beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything to make a delicious meal, bathrooms and especially bidets were awesome too. It is away from the main road and we liked it, because of the quiet and peaceful surroundings. The hosts were friendly, easy to communicate and always available to answer our questions or give recommendations. There are many beautiful beaches and points of interest within 20-40 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us!
It was a beautiful airbnb and you can really tell they out a lot of effort in making it a unique and inviting home. Andrew was very at responding and has been super helpful during the stay. My friend forgot her sweatshirt there and they were sweet enough to have found it and offered to ship it to us. 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to escape the urban and busy metro life!
Beautiful sunrises and all day views overlooking the island’s south point. House was new and nice. Hosts were proactive and kind.
I recently stayed at Andrew’s wonderful ocean view home. It was a peaceful home with a great starry view at night & many beautiful views in the morning. The atmosphere was incredibly homey, Andrew is an attentive host & made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect. I would definitely book with Andrew again. The home was just about an hour's drive from multiple beautiful beaches. My friends and I had a fantastic time with no issues during our stay. I highly recommend booking with Andrew for a relaxing and memorable experience.

The neighborhood is on agricultural land, and is somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no street lights, and the roads can be bumpy (it's located on a volcano).
Situated at 3600' elevation (in the clouds), in the largest subdivision in the world on the slopes of the largest Volcano (Mauna Loa) in the world!
Located 1.25 hours from Kona and 1.75 hours from Hilo Hawaii.
There are no sidewalks or streetlights, and given the elevation it is not recommended to stray too far from the home on foot.
You will need to rent a car, public transportation does not work on the South Side of the island.
Ocean View center is located down at the main highway (5-10 minute drive) in the center of the subdivision, there are 3 grocery stores, 3 gas stations, Ace hardware, a Chiropractor, auto parts store, a pizza shop, Hawaiian bbq, and even a coffee shop that serves food until 7pm every day of the week.
20 minutes down the street is the beautiful town of Na'alehu (Southernmost town in the US) which has additional coffee shops, restaurants and stores.
There’s plenty to enjoy locally!
