The Orchard is our luxurious custom built Shepherd's Hut for two, set on a working farm surrounded by idyllic nature. Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding rolling countryside, a perfect tranquil location. Appointed to a high standard with underfloor heating, the sizeable open plan living space has a bespoke fitted kitchen, oven, hob, dining table, smart TV and double bed. Ensuite bathroom with luxurious shower. Large outdoor seating area with combi firepit/BBQ swing arm for you to relax. The Shepherd's Hut opens out onto a large private patio area with table and chairs, combi firepit / BBQ swing arm surrounded by a grassed garden area. The bespoke kitchen has an oven, double electric hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. Numerous essentials are provided including tea, coffee, sugar, oil, and a selection of spices. Everything you could need whilst also enjoying all the eateries of the local area. There is a dining area with fold down table and two chairs, smart TV and WiFi. The entire shepherd's hut is heated by underfloor heating and also has an additional electric radiator. We also have a portable oscillating fan available. Adjacent to the shepherd's hut there is on-site parking. There is access to a shared utility room with washer and dryer. All bedding and towels are provided. We have made sustainable choices where possible, using refill washing liquid, hand wash, hand cream, hand sanitiser and cleaning products. The shepherd's hut is perfect for both walkers and cyclists who want to take in both the immediate surroundings from the doorstep or venture a short drive into the heart of the Lake District with easy access to Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside and much more. Or for anyone that would like a break from their busy lives in an idyllic countryside location. Local maps and walking routes from the shepherd's hut doorstep are available for guest use.
