This home truly was a home from home, we couldn't have been made more welcome. The welcome gift of cake and drinks was a lovely touch, along with milk in the fridge. The kitchen was one of the most comprehensive I've seen on all my year's of Airbnb, which is a huge bonus as I self cater. A beautiful private area for sitting out too, just a bit too chilly for us to enjoy 😅. Sharon was lovely, genuinely friendly without being intrusive and in the middle of a most beautiful area of Derbyshire. We will definitely visit again

2nd holiday at the cottage, and enjoyed our holiday just as much as first time. Very cosy, clean and warm, and well equipped kitchen. Village has a shop and a pub and loads of walking from the door, beautiful scenery. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit out in the pretty courtyard garden, which is a bit of a sun trap. Easy driving distance to Matlock, Chatsworth, Dovedale etc. Plenty to do and see in the area but cottage is in a lovely peaceful location. Highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a great base for exploring the Peak District and we found the place very clean and with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The master bedroom is gorgeous, but you should note there is no door to the stairway so if you have noisy children don’t expect a lie in. The hot water seemed a bit restricted which was our only issue, and think there may have been a problem with the system so sure Sharon will get that sorted for the next visitors. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and the lemon cake on arrival was a lovely touch. Sharon was very friendly and courteous and seemed a very caring host.
