The cabin was lovely - just as pictured, clean, and in a quiet location. The only downside to our stay was that the heat in the bedrooms and bathroom would not turn off or respond to the thermostat. The result was that the bedrooms never got below 76 degrees (even with windows open!) and it was very uncomfortable for sleeping. We communicated with the host about the heat and they said they would have someone look at the furnace after we left (we stayed 3 nights). Other than the temperature, the space was a really nice option in the area, a short drive from local breweries and downtown Jamestown, and the host provided a generous basket of chocolates for us at check-in. There are some mismatches in the posting for example, there were bath towels, and we were (after some confusion from the host over text) able to do self check-in with a lockbox. Finally, the cabin has well water so, even if you are used to the taste you may want to pick up some bottled drinking water for your stay.

The cabin was so cute and comfortable! Both my sister and I enjoyed everything about it and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway!

The property was magnificent. The host’s were unbelievable. They were friendly. They were responsive and everything we could possibly imagine was available when we got there. They were garbage bags they were towels, wash clothes, bedding - beyond comfortable beds and great living room space! We have been coming to Bemus Point and the lake for 30+ years and this is our favorite spot! We loved it and will be back again!!
