Everything was exactly as described. Reading all the other reviews before our trip was helpful for us. The small beach, hot tub, and house layout was perfect for a family with multi age kids. We had kids ages 12,9, and almost 2. Everyone had something fun to do and we could let baby nap or sleep while we still had fun things to do at the house. The location was so peaceful, especially in the mornings. The big room on the back of the house is a great feature - big table to eat or play at, super comfy couches, panoramic views of the water. We did notice a pack n play in the closet - so check with the host but that might be available to you and will save space in your car! Showers are tight so if you need a lot of space keep that in mind. Very clean and comfortable place. Would definitely go back!

The view was beautiful and it was quite relaxing. The house was as expected and clean. It was also a joy to be able to bring our dogs! That being said, this would be a wonderful spot in the summer with a large family but for just two people it wasn’t quite worth the price especially considering we came in February.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at this peaceful location. The house has a beautiful waterfront view and a fully fenced in yard for the dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and beach area. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. The additional TV with 90's Nintendo games was such a treat! The house is cozy and a great place for a holiday getaway.

We stayed at the Beach Retreat with two moms and four kids under the age of 10 for three nights. We loved that the house was right on the water with beautiful views and there was tons of space outside for the kids to run around. We appreciated the kayaks and the paddle board, as well as the beach games and the board games inside the house. The hot tub was the perfect place for us moms to unwind after the kids went to bed. The host, Frank, was responsive to all of my questions before and after booking. And he was flexible with us when we decided to add an extra night before the stay. The property met our needs perfectly because we were there with kids and not looking for anything fancy, but there were a few things at the property that could probably use some updating. Also, if you are allergic to dogs, I would take that into consideration since the property allows dogs and that was evident. Overall, a great stay, and we would consider coming back in the future!

Had a wonderful stay! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and had the most perfect staycation. Perfect place if you are looking for a stunning view with all the amenities without having to leave.
