Carol was approachable, friendly and lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely continental breakfast provided and a well stocked fridge of milk, juice and supplies. Immaculately clean and everything there u need. Would definately return. Thank you Darren & Andrea

We really enjoyed our weekend away at Carol's. As we drove some distance, Carol kindly allowed us to park prior to check-in time and take the brief walk into town. The place was squeaky clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed a long walk on the Monsal Trail (literally just outside the back door) and took a number of walks into Bakewell. The bed, pillows, and shower we all extraordinarily comfy. We would happily stay with Carol again anytime we're in the area!

Carol was lovely! She greeted us when we got in and had breakfast ready for us. Luxury touches like a towel warmer and bathroom heated floors made us feel spoiled. Would highly recommend! Spotless as well.

Carol's place was perfect for our weekend to the Peak District. Carol was so helpful before and during our stay, recommending local restaurants and things to do, and we were glad we got to meet! The furnishings and facilities are so lovely, and the bed is really comfortable. Very good shower too. The breakfast provided is great - simple but very well thought out and delicious. The cottage is private and peaceful, and only a 15 minute walk along the Monsal Trail into Bakewell. We'd love to return!

A beautiful little place to stay, very clean and cosy....Carol was very friendly and helpful. 10/15 minute walk into Bakewell, so was ideal for us. Would definitely stay here again.
