This was our second stay at Sunset Bay Retreat, and we hope it won’t be our last. The home is clean, well appointed, and close to restaurants and attractions. And true to it’s name, has gorgeous sunsets in the evening! Thank you Mary!

Beautiful view. Very convenient for a fishing trip. Wish there had been a little more gravel parking. Would definitely return!

Home has great potential but poor management. Surfaces looked clean, but most pots/ pans were dirty with caked on grease or dried food- we had to scrub prior to use. Found 2 broken glasses in cabinet. Crumbs and dried spills inside the drawers. The stove top has only 2 working burners (both small in the back). The large burner didn't work at all, other burner cycled on/off making cooking impossible. We cooked with an iron skillet on the deck grill. Reported first day, never addressed. Otherwise, kitchen well equipped Home matched the photos inside, but exterior is less private than photos implied. An RV with someone living in it is parked next to the house and has a water hose connected to house. For a one week stay, 1 towel/wash cloth per person were provided. Bed sheets/pillows cheap, scratchy. Most frustrating, we couldn't get questions answered accurately or problems fixed but got 6 messages during stay with departure chore list, none of which were mentioned prebooking.

We enjoyed this property very much. Everything you could need was provided. The kitchen is fully stocked. The location is top notch. We spent most of our time on the back porch taking in the water views. Our kids loved playing on the little Sandy beach and fishing too.
