Beautiful penthouse with amazing views from the enormous wrap around deck. The home was just as pictured; beautifully decorated with no expense spared with high end finishes including beautiful bathrooms, loads of storage, wallpapered closets (!) & a full size washer dryer too. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need & high end appliances. The elevator made loading & unloading easy & of course, the teens loved using it! The 2 restaurants in town, although not fancy, were delicious with fresh local seafood as well as many other choices. The Cape Lookout ferry was right down the road. If you're looking for beautiful, modern accommodation in a peaceful, quiet setting, you won't be disappointed with this rental.

We enjoyed our stay at “The Cape” so so much. The house was beautiful, well appointed, comfortable and clean. The elevator was great for the initial unloading and for the first grocery run. Mary sent very clear instructions on the dos and don’t of the elevator operation and how to get inside the house. That was much appreciated as residential elevators are different from regular elevators. The videos explained the entire process. The king size bed was very comfortable and the showers had nice water pressure (you don’t always get that at the coast). The living room furniture with the recliners were great too. The inside, while great, it was the outside areas that we enjoyed the most. The views were spectacular! All of the outside furniture was very comfortable. We were outside most of the time especially at sunrise, sunset and looking at the moon and stars. We enjoyed watching the dolphins and boaters in the Back Sound. It was a perfect week!
