Our place is close to all things U-M (Stadium, Main Campus) downtown restaurants, markets, arts/culture, bus stops, etc! With industrial, mid century modern, and farmhouse touches, our home has a stylish but relaxed atmosphere. There are three bedrooms with a full size bed. The master suite and one guest bedroom have eco-friendly mattresses that are ultra cozy! Our place is great for families, small groups of friends, business travelers, and is dog-friendly. This is our home and we live here when guests do not. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with a full size bed. The master suite has it's own bathroom, while the other two bedrooms share a full guest bathroom The downstairs has an open concept kitchen, living, and dining room, as well as an extra powder room. We invite guests to enjoy the space that we work so hard to build ourselves!

Had a great stay at Matt & Julie's. Julie was very easy to communicate with and helpful. We were impressed by their use of renewable architectural materials in the home. We walked to & from campus & The Big House. Good location! Home was spotless!
Matthew and Julie’s home was a perfect base for our family’s celebration of our youngest’s Michigan graduation. The house was just as described—clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and in a convenient location. We especially appreciated being able to check in early and were grateful for the clear instructions, kind personal note and local goodies awaiting us. Highly recommend!
So thankful for Julie and Matthew for opening their home to us. Great communication and their house is exactly as described. Perfect walking distance to The Big House. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Our neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible to many places in Ann Arbor, including downtown, the University of Michigan, and hospital. It is a mix of families, young professionals, and college students. There are always people walking dogs, riding their bikes, or checking out one of the many street-side community libraries! We feel very safe in our neighborhood and greatly enjoy the "college town" energy! There are also a few great neighborhood restaurants just around the corner that many of our guests like to enjoy if they need a quick bite.
We are about 50 yards away from the Route 5 AAATA bus stop, which takes passengers directly downtown and within an extremely close walking distance to U-M. We also live in a very bike friendly neighborhood. Parking on the street is free and safe and you are welcome to use the driveway as well.

We are two professionals who work in education and GIS. We love spending time outdoors, hiking, camping and biking. We know alot about our city, including the best way to get places via bike! When we aren't outdoors or working, Matthew spends his time working on bikes, while Julie likes to get creative with projects and recipes. We also love spending our Saturday morning working on an organic farm just north of Ann Arbor.
