Lovely comfortable place to stay. We rented both upstairs and down for our group of 5. We had plenty of space and so many wonderful places to relax outside. It's simply breathtaking to watch the sunrise. It felt very private and safe. As warned, there was construction noise as other homes are being built around, but we went on adventures most days and did not find the the construction noise a problem. The beds were all comfortable with air conditioning in the rooms. There was plenty of coffee, which we appreciated arriving too late to find groceries. There are seasonings, salt/pepper, oils left from previous guests. They had plenty of beach towels to use so no need to pack. If you're wondering, snorkeling off the dock was not very interesting and it is really shallow for a long distance. But we did see manatee all week long from the dock, sometimes getting pretty close. If we came back to Belize, we would hope to stay here again. Well worth it. Highly recommend

It provided a beautiful mornin scenery of the sunrise over the ocean. No what where you are in the house there is always a great view. The house is something straight out of magazine.

I have stayed in Hopkins multiple times and this by far was our favorite home. It was very relaxing and peaceful due to it being a little away from the hustle bustle of the village. The home was immaculate and the host was lovely to deal with. The photos do no justice for how amazing the backyard/dock really is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. I highly recommend The Shallow Bay House

Janette was a very kind and helpful caretaker we. I forgot a wallet with a lot of cash on the safe. The cleaning lady found it and turned it in. Nowadays it is very hard to find such lovely and honest persons! Absolutely loved it - spotless and high class!

This is my second stay at Shallow Bay. The home was clean and beautiful. My friends that I brought with me, absolutely love the accommodations.
