Our stay at Matt's place was great. The pictures and description in the listing are an accurate representation of the unit - if anything they undersell how large the communal living/dining area actually is. The large living/dining area was great, and the beds/bedrooms were very comfortable. Check-in was very easy and Matt provided clear instructions. Matt responded quickly and helpfully to the only question we had. The location is great in a peaceful neighborhood with a park right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again on another trip to Charlottesville if Matt's place is available.

This accommodation was clean, had a lovely area for sitting and a nice central dining table. The photos were representative of the actual property, the instructions for self check-in were spot on. Matt responded to our request for cutlery and an extra towel. Great selection of books and games at the property. Also better value pricing that some other options in Charlottesville. Heating worked well, as did the microwave, fridge and electric kettle. Have to take off just one star for a few small things, but would still very much recommend the property. The one sink is in the bathroom, and too small for the washing up bowl. This made it a bit of a challenge to wash our plates after having a takeaway dinner. Area is a little tricky to get to in the dark if you are from out of town due to signage and structure of local road network, just be aware. A very good Air BnB, thank you!

The listing states No Kitchen. There is a dorm size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishes to eat on, Coffee pot with coffee pods, a tea service area complete with teas and pot for heating water. Very few utensils, so bring your own. The entry door looks out onto a creek and is very peaceful. The interior is beautiful and the furniture comfortable. The beds are amazing! That was a major plus! It could use an ice maker, but that's really just a preference. I definitely recommend this AB&B to everyone. We had 4 adults, a 6yo, and a month old. We were comfortable in this space. Matt went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and response time was rapid.
