Was very disappointed in the condition the house was. Besides it being old and not well maintained we found the place not completely clean. The owner was finishing cleaning at our arrival and left it as is. I inspected the place to see if everything was in order and took pictures of all the things I found wrong with it sent it to her and I never heard back from her. What did I find wrong you might ask. Well. Trash still in kitchen trash can. Mess in laundry area, master bed defying still in dryer so the bed was not made, I had to make the bed. Soiled TP in master bedroom trash can, Bathroom mirror splattered with toothpaste. Microwave not clean out or in and a plate of food inside of it. Dog hair and stains on sheets. Dirt and stains on floor that had not been swept or mopped. An opened soda bottle and dirty sponge in sink. Moldy coffee grinds still in coffee maker. Hole in an air vent that was in the middle of the floor in master bed and so much more that I have no more room to type.

Absolutely loved it. Amy is the sweetest! The place is in a very good location. Amy responds real fast and accommodated all of our needs. 10/10 recommend!

Everything was good except we had no hot water. So could not take showers. We did boil water to give our baby a warm bath and for sinks baths for the grown ups.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Amy's place and would definately stay again. This is a excellent rate for a large 3/2 home, in a peaceful location and nearby Monroe but also an easy drive to Athens. The home is comfortable and stocked with the basics for cooking a meal at home with ample towels, linens and extra comforters and quilts. The surroundings are very quiet and there is a nice little back covered porch for a meal, visiting or coffee. Amy is very sweet and you can tell she wants everyone to have the best visit possible. She noted having some phone difficulties so my messages were delayed and/her messages delayed to me. We invited family in the area to join us for Easter dinner and an egg hunt and the kids loved the big front yard to run and hunt eggs - lots of memories were made. Thank you, Amy - this was our second time enjoying your home and we appreciate you very much!
