The Newby Bridge River House is a charming place with a beautiful view of the river and the Swan Hotel. We loved seeing the ducks and geese. It was convenient to the bus stop and to a trail that runs up to Windermere where we caught a ferry to go further up the lake. The property is clean, cozy, and has everything you need. Andrew is an excellent host.

We had a fabulous stay. The facilties were great. It was delightful to be so close to the river, sometimes with dramatic weather conditions. We were close to roads that took us quickly to lots of great different locations, walks and places of interest.

This was our first time using Airbnb & we were so relieved to find such a gem of a property. The owners are very friendly, and quickly answered the questions we had before our stay. The instructions provided to us before arrival helped us locate the property easily, there is plenty of parking and the location is absolutely fantastic. We have honestly never stayed in a property before which has been so clean, and really appreciated the fact that all the kitchen items were super clean and could be used straight away without the usual hassle of having to wash everything first! Thank you for a lovely holiday & we hope to return again soon!
