We had a great stay here! It's a beautiful and unique space. We have two kids, so it would have worked better for us if there were a door between the bedroom and living space. But we still had a great stay and I'm sure people without kids would find it charming and find that aspect cool. Miranda was super nice and communicated everything really clearly. The location is great and the carriage house is so super cool! It's a 2-3 min drive from the downtown mall and a 10 min walk. I'd highly recommend this option to anyone! There is a cool fridge and freezer that look just like cabinets! Really neat design but we did forget to grab some things from the fridge (sorry Miranda!)

The carriage house was perfect! I can’t wait to stay there again. It’s private and quiet, has huge windows and high ceilings, and it’s surrounded by beautiful trees. It truly served as an oasis for me! Miranda is a great communicator. Downtown is a a short walk through a peaceful neighborhood. Completely delightful on every level. Thank you, Miranda!!

Nicely located, just .4 of a mile from the historic downtown area with its quaint shops and restaurants. There is a hill to walk up to get to town, but it is an easy walk that took us less than 10 minutes each way, walking very leisurely. The main street where the house is located was under construction when we stayed here and parking was somewhat limited, but we always had a parking place. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of towels, wash clothes, and bedding. We did bring our own coffee pot as the house only had a French press. As others note, this home is on the 2nd floor and requires a flight of stairs up to the front door. Pam and Stefan live next door and are very friendly and warm. They were helpful with local area questions that we had. The location is perfect for walking into town, for traveling to Monticello (~10 minutes), ~30 minutes to the Blue Ridge and Skyline Drive entrances, and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The carriage house was clean, bright and modern. It was in a fantastic location, only 10 minutes walk from downtown Charlottesville. It was perfect for a mini-break. Miranda was a great host and very communicative. Overall, a lovely stay.
