It’s a good place to stay for few days if you are looking for a secluded, off the city and beach. The home has nice sit out area also. It’s a big bungalow and has one car park (can fit long sedan). If you are travelling with kids, please be extra careful of glass furniture. Ashley (the host) was always reachable and open to communication.

An amazing place.. Visited with 5 friends for 2 days.. Had a wonderful experience.. Ashley was extremely helpful.. Great experience overall.. Would love to visit again! Note: Would recommend guests to have personal transportation while visiting this place as it is just a bit far from the main town.

This was a long..long trip to Goa, we came from Kolkata by road. We checked the pictures on the app and we liked it but we were sure that we will get at least 30% lesser than what was shown. But trust me, Ashley’s place the Vila Palace is much more than what we saw at the time of booking. Neat and clean house, well furnished, decorated with antiques and very well maintained overall. Miss Seema is the caretaker of the property, she is a lovely lady who takes care of everything and always smiling. Sophie is a very friendly pet, you fall for her immediately. Unfortunately my aunt gets scared of dogs, thats why Sophie was not allowed to roam freely, our bad. Now Ashley, he is literally a super host. He recommended beautiful places to visit and excellent restaurants to dine in. He was just a call away and always responded positively. This place is very calm and in a very friendly neighbourhood, highly recommended. I will surely comeback here again.

Great experience staying at Ashley's place during the Christmas time with family. The place is authentic, old Portuguese villa maintained really well. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Three spacious bedrooms, a long hall That doubles up as entertainment space and a fully functional kitchen is what you get. The garden with a gazebo and a swing was a cozy, romantic place for my wife and I to spend leisurely time late into the night. Everything is well thought out and made available. The host Ashley, his uncle Jason and the caretaker Seema were constantly in touch with us even before we arrived and were super helpful with local tips and went out of the way to make our stay a pleasant one. The kids loved the resident dog and cat(along with her three other cat friends) who were all well behaved. Food can be ordered from their little restaurant and there are a couple of corner shops in walking distance if you need some basic stuff. We had our car so getting around wasn't a hassle but a bike is available with the host on rent if you need. The beaches are within a couple of kilometres away and the best of South Goan restaurants are not far. Network connectivity could be a bit of a problem around the place. Also, one would wish there were more than the 1.5 bathrooms, but not much can be done about it. All in all, a memorable experience and a great stay!
