WOW, what a gorgeous and special place Olivia’s home is. Full of charm and history, it has a great feel about it and is just beautiful to be in. Olivia as exceptionally good at communicating and we wanted for nothing. Kanthi, who is the fabulous lady who works there cooked delicious local food and fruit juices every day for us and was so lovely to talk with. They both provided lots of useful information about the area and helped us with taxis and travel advice. Restaurants and shops are a stones throw and a nice little beach is within a few moments walk. Couldn’t recommend this home highly enough.

Olivia's place is a real jewel in the Galle Fort. It's everything she described and more. I loved living with her beautiful antique treasures and books. Hope I get to stay there again soon.

All the superlatives about Olivia and Alex’s home are true and more! Such a wonderful home brimming with character and comfort. A pleasure to get to experience it, and meet the kind Kanthi too. Her breakkie was done with such care and flavour.

The Turquoise Fort House is undoubtedly 1 of our best AirBnB experiences. Located inside the fort walls with views of the lighthouse, it is perfect for a stay in Galle. The house is very spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas, we spent plenty of time enjoying the private terrace upstairs. The furnishings are beautiful throughout and the house is extremely comfortable, with air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout for the hot days. There was ample hot water in the excellent showers, the beds were comfortable with mosquito nets provided and fresh drinking water was also available. The housekeeper, Kanthi, looked after us well and cooked us some amazing breakfasts! We’d definitely like to return here on our next trip to Sri Lanka.

We struck double gold with this stay: Olivia was a fantastic host and her place is magical. Loved our few nights there and would have extended if we could, but she was booked back-to-back. Being inside the fort, and in this impeccably decorated heritage home next to Galle’s beach, lighthouse etc was a really special experience. Olivia’s recommendations for things to do in Galle and beyond were also spot on! The housekeeper, Kanthi took great care of us, and cooked delicious breakfast and lunches. Hope we can manage a return visit soon!
