The cottages are well-equipped, pleasant, comfortable, and a convenient distance from the town of Portal and Cave Creek Canyon. Bill was friendly and helpful, and he was always available when we needed information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend 4 Bar Cottages!

We stayed three nights each in the Apache and Hacienda. Both were exactly as described and photographed, except that the photos did not do justice to the wonderful feel of the space and decor of the one room Hacienda. For my brother and I, it was nice to have the Apache with two separate sleeping rooms, but if i was with my wife I would opt for the Apache without question. The simple, colorful decor that Jill did in the Hacienda made it the most attractive space I've been in...ever. Ever. "Similar to a hotel room?" Not any hotel room I've ever stayed in. Fantastic. The grounds are wonderful...with crowds of birds. I really liked "out back." Early morning with a cup of coffee and my camera, looking the mtns, with birds coming fast and furious. What do you have available next April Bill?

Four bar cottages is in a beautiful little space and definitely not overpriced. Impeccably clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for our family of four. We stayed in the Hacienda cottage which was adorable and cozy. I would certainly recommend it and will stay here again!

This was a really lovely place to stay in Portal. Bill was helpful and responsive, the location was beautiful, and the space was comfortable. We really appreciate being able to stay here and look forward to our next visit.

Our visit was delightful. We wanted a guest who was visiting from Sweden to experience Arizona at its best, and we were all extremely happy in every way. We most highly recommend the 4 Bar Cottages.
