A beautiful, cosy little cottage practically in the middle of nowhere, for the perfect getaway. Great walks straight from the door, all very dog-friendly (though lots of cattle to watch out for, so keep your lead handy). Phill was very approachable, friendly and proactive. He checked in with us a couple of times during the stay, and was quick replying to any queries. Cottage was perfectly clean, with all the things you'd need for a short stay. Cooked a full roast dinner with absolutely no issue. Comfortable bed, blissful rainfall shower, lovely little outdoor area out back to chill in, and a log burner to doze in front of in the evening. Highly recommended!

Very cozy and peaceful cottage, with walks from the front door and easy drive to many Peak District points of interest. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place to stay. It is really peaceful with beautiful views. It has a well kitted-out, modern kitchen and a nice bathroom with a great shower. Be careful on the extremely steep staircase!

We had a lovely stay at this warm, welcoming,cosy cottage. The cottage was very clean and tidy. It was well maintained and felt homely straight away. Overlooking fields, making the morning view from the bedroom a delight to wake up to. Big comfortable bed for a decent nights sleep after walking all day. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower and had plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped and looked quite new. There are some really lovely thoughtful touches around the cottage. We would definitely recommend a stay here!!

Our stay here was fantastic. The cottage is in an ideal location to explore the Peak District. The place was beautiful, warm and had all the amenities required for your stay - we were super impressed with the fully equipped kitchen! Phill was a great host and very responsive. There was still so much of the Peaks left for us to explore so we would definitely stay again on our next trip.
