Stunningly picturesque. Very well stocked throughout, including the kitchen. Loved that it is dog friendly. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful week here, amazing views to wake up to/enjoy! We loved the layout and fire pit, yard/hammock in the sun at days end. The outdoor grill and kitchen had all we needed. Bedding was very comfortable! Access to lawn games/other items a bonus! I have to say, despite a very lovely week, there was some stress leading up as previous reviews noted absence of stair/dock lake access. We know that VT has had a lot of rain, however the week before our trip we went back and forth with various people at Vacasa, very nice but took time for the local Vacasa to advise regarding accessibility to the lake as was advertised in the listing, a priority in booking this location. I asked about a workaround to access the lake (8ft rocky drop+dog) or discounted rate, was told the local agent would get back to us, but didnt. We managed to enjoy the lake despite, just wished for better local communication. The home is on a main road, so leads/lines needed for dogs and extra awareness for kiddos.

The backyard was beautiful and the house itself was adorable. My now fiancé proposed right in the backyard and it made for perfect engagement photos! We loved that it came with kayaks and was dog friendly. We will definitely come back again.

This place is a gem! Beautiful views and private location. Cute quaint house with all the things you would need inside. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the use of the kayaks and paddle board. A few things to note, the grill listed is inoperable and missing pieces so we weren’t able to use that sadly like we planned. If you want to swim you’ll need to climb down rocks to get to a little spot. Easy for older kids but toddlers not so much. Also bring water shoes! We will definitely book again.

Two full days & 3 nights = lifetime memories. Thank you! The house was extremely hospitable - comfortable beds, clean bathroom and kitchen, ceiling fans, generous windows. Though we don't have dogs ourselves, we loved how welcome dogs are there and their needs well provided for. I especially liked the clocks, each stopped at different times, a visual metaphor that proclaimed 'Time doesn't matter here!' I have one recommendation for the hosts. As a person with mobility issues and difficulty walking, I was very disappointed that I couldn't get down to the lakeside level with the firepit. A sturdy railing would be most helpful. A way into the streetside door would help, too - it was a bit of an unsteady slog, with cane and walker, from & to the parking area to the terrace door & back out. Either that or note these issues in your description. Once inside I was OK, but it took some doing to get there. Otherwise it was glorious - cozy, homelike. Beautiful setting. Hope to return!
