A lovely cottage in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, perfect for a long weekend getaway. Great & helpful hosts, good facilities (including the basics being provided - cleaning supplies, cooking items etc.). Very well placed for a quick drive to various great walks. Thank you!!

Lovely cosy cottage, nice and warm. A great location to walk to Robin Hood's Stride and Nine Stones Close Stone Circle. There were some nice essentials (oil, ketchup, milk) left. Chris welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. The only improvement I would suggest would be a compost bin and some provision for separating recyclables. We would have produced much less rubbish. But a lovely stay at a nice cottage in a beautiful location.

A peaceful base to explore this beautiful area. The property was warm and cosy- very welcome after the drive there. There was plenty of room for us both to relax, and the bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay in a cottage full of character in a quiet location which was ideal for exploring the area. Shower gel, shampoo, washing-up liquid, dishcloth, kitchen roll etc., together with towels and tea towels all provided. A nice touch were the fresh flowers and milk in the fridge. It is a bit of a trek to the bathroom if you have to visit during the night due to its position downstairs but it was spacious and had a bath with shower over. There is ample off road parking which is a great bonus. Definitely a great find.
