We had such a great time! What a magical spot -- the photos honestly don't do it justice. Our favorite parts were the fire pit and the walk to the "secret" dock!

Great amemtities. Pool area and pool table in house were fantastic. Beach access was also great even in winter.

Some issues...but Beautiful location on the lake. Main house is lakefront with great views. Sporting equipment available to use on lake. Host was responsive when we reached out. Casino close by. Issues with the refrigerator not working, and the plumbing (toilet not flushing/no use of sinks), no coffepot, a bit untidy in the 'guest suite/downstairs of main house'. Grounds and pool/hot tub are amazing though need better upkeep and TLC.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a spectacular property! We were looking for a getaway that allowed us to stay in one place and Salem Woods delivered. Bill met us when we arrived and he gave a wonderful tour of the guest suite and the massive property. We made great use of the kayaks and paddleboats, had fun digging in the sand, swam for hours in the phenomenal indoor pool/hot tub, relaxed on the waterfront lawn, BBQed with the onsite grills, and roasted marshmallows over the firepit every night. The hosts ensured that we had all the "extras" to make our visit even more special. There was plenty of firewood, roasting sticks, and the kitchen stocked with the extras (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper). There were tons of pool toys and floats/rafts to use on the lake. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom has beautiful views of the lake. The front porch was the perfect place to sit with coffee in the morning and enjoy the quiet. The family using the main house was very quiet and we were able to easily share all the ammenities on the property with ease. I could see how both sets of guests need to be on the same page to make things go smoothly. When there was a plumbing issue the host was quick to respond and kept us update throughout the entire process. The hosts are continually looking to maintain and upgrade the property. They mentioned plans to install a washer/dryer which will be a huge plus with all the water activities and towels being used. This is a special listing and we would absolutely consider returning.

This property is stunning! The owner and his business partners were VERY kind and very responsive (texts, phone calls, on site). Big thank you to Bill, Regan, and Rick! Rick was working on the property Saturday and made our weekend extra special. Anything we needed, he helped and went the extra mile! We came with a group of 8 girls for a mini bachelorette party and plan to recommend this place to everyone! Awesome time and excellent hospitality! We enjoyed a ride on their pontoon boat, floating on the lake, grilling, playing yard games, didn’t use the indoor pool because weather was so beautiful but that space was incredible, s’mores by the fire, dock to the side of the property with nice views for sunrise/sunset. The guest house was the best because right out the front doors was the beautiful porch overlooking the water. Can’t say enough about our great experience! I would love to come back. Pool, water front, docks, yard and fire pit are shared spaces but was no issue at all because there was so much room and the other group of people were wonderful! Thanks again, Bill!
