Terry and her whole family were incredible hosts! The food was delicious and there was always plenty. They all really made us feel like part of the family and had tons of great local recommendations and insights. Staying with Terry and her family was easily the highlight of my trip to Fiji :)

terry’s homestay is an absolutely amazing place to stay in the yasawa islands!! you absolutely need to stop here on your way through the islands ✨☀️🏝 like you, perhaps right now, i had gone through all the amazing reviews for vunidaka homestay while at home and had high hopes and expectations coming in, however this incredible spot has definitely even exceeded those expectations! the homestay is in a truly beautiful spot nestled among the palms and with so much tropical greenery, plus of course the beach out front is truly idyllic 🤍 terry is super warm and welcoming and makes you feel at home in no time at all, and the whole family is super lovely and it’s been a pleasure to meet them all! terry truly does make such delicious meals that many other reviews have also raved about 😍 i am vegan and terry was so accomodating in making a whole array of fantastic meals for me, which i was so grateful for 🤩 there is also rainwater for you to drink if you don’t want to bring your water, which i would really recommend 💧 just across the other side of the island is the blue lagoon beach which you can walk to easily and snorkel with so many incredible and colourful fish! 🐠 🤿 there is a small shop there and a bar attached to the resort on that side if that’s your thing too, but otherwise everything you need is at the homestay! i was supposed to stay a week but have extended my stay since it’s such an amazing spot 🥰 vinaka vakalevu terry and all the family for having me and for opening your amazing home up to strangers so we could experience a slice of island life on Nanuya Island!!

What an awesum time at Terry's homestay. We travelled one month in Fiji and our stay there was the best ever, we didn't want to leave. Terry is such a nice and funny person. She always have a nice word for you. She spoilt our kids so much and played with them. The whole family is so nice and friendly. You feel at home there. No village rules like in some other places, you can walk everywhere you want; there is also a nice walk to cross the island to take you to the blue lagoon (perfect place to do some snorkeling with little kids) Nice beach a front of the house and very beautiful snorkeling there for the adults. Terry is also a wonderful cook. Home made meals, different food everyday, so tasty and huge plates ! we loved it ! If you want to expérience the true Fijian life and if you are travelling with small kids, you should definately go there ! Thank you again for everything Terry. We already miss you and your family.
