Carolyn and Carl were great hosts, super friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made us feel totally at home and we were able to come and ask them anything. From start to finish this weekend away was perfect. Getting to feed the goats and alpacas everyday were a highlight they were so friendly and we loved them! Also being able to collect fresh eggs from the chickens were a bonus aswell as being greeted with carolyn and carls 3 dogs which were all so cute and friendly! The alpaca hut that we stayed in was amazing, so cosy and had everything we needed! The hot tub was also amazing, we loved going in it every night after being out all day. There are plenty of amazing scenic walks nearby, which you can cut through from the fields. We will definitely be returning, one of the best weekends away we have had! Thank you so much Carolyn and Carl ☺️

We had a great relaxing stay at The Alpaca Hut. The setting at the farm is beautiful and it was great to be encouraged to explore the farm and spend time with the animals. Carolyn and Karl are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Carolyn for the pub recommendations (The Old Dog at Thorpe was great) and for making us so welcome at your beautiful farm.

Lovely place for a relaxing few days surrounded by gorgeous lansdcapes and lots of animals. Bottle of fizz enjoyed in the hot tub set the tone for the break. Thankfully we didn’t need to call on Carolyn or Karl but they could always be spotted out and about on the farm. Great break, will definitely be returning.

The Alpaca Hut was a perfect place to spend a long weekend. It was a great base for exploring the Peaks, as well as the local villages. It is really remote but we loved that about it, and Karl & Carolyn were super helpful and accommodating - as well as the dogs that greeted us on arrival! We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Alpaca hut. Karl & Carolyn were great hosts, very friendly and responsive and made out stay very enjoyable. The hut itself was clean and tidy. Cosy in size but perfect for a couple. The hot tub is a great touch. Would recommend the Alpaca hu!
