Be advised, this is a straight hotel room rental. There is no “Don the host”- it’s the front desk. Super slow to respond and very unhelpful prior to arrival. The good- the room and hotel are great. Lots of space for us in the room and a great, spacious outdoor patio off our room. Modern finishes. Pool area is great and beach chairs, etc. were very nice and waitress comes around often. Restaurant was very good albeit expensive. The bad- overall, here and everywhere we went, the service is simply not good. People are generally not happy or engaging. Since there is crime issue around, one must take taxis everywhere, which are ridiculously expensive. Restaurants are all very pricey. We were charged amenity fee of $93 per day outside of the Air BNB expense, which includes 20% tax so you are paying A LOT in extra charges. This was not communicated well at all on the site. Our $1,000 per night rate was really $1300- big difference. My suggestion- go to Turks & Caicos instead!

The only hickup was the lengthy wait for check-in. I'm assuming it was due to arriving in the thick of the busy holiday season. They went far and beyond to make ammends for the mishap, especially the manager Claudine who was nothing short of splendid. From that moment on everything was outstnding with cheerfully attentive hospitality. I highly recommend visiting,
