Great "get-away" stay in a peaceful area—just a 30-minute walk into Kendal Centre. The room was cosy and had tea/coffee facilities inside. The bed was very comfy. The lodge is a little further down the road than the postcode/satnav suggests!

Lisa’s place is first class. The only disappointment was that she is advertising the local club house restaurant as serving “locally sourced food seven days a week” - one of the reasons I booked. I arrived, heavily delayed after a very long drive up the M6, with two small, hungry children, to discover the restaurant is actually shut two or three nights of the week. Kendal does have a few places offering takeaway delivery services but I ended up having to then go and collect our meal myself, to avoid waiting until after 9pm to feed them. Not ideal.

Absolutely loved our visit! The photos didn’t really do it justice. Lovely friendly helpful staff with good food and wonderful views over the golf course. Easy walking to Kendal and gateway to the Lakes.

I had an amazing stay the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
