We traveled here to experience the total eclipse and it couldn’t have been better. The cabin faces east for wonderful sunrises, the weather was warm enough for us to use the deck, with views of the lake. It was peaceful, well-equipped, very clean. The Champlain islands are very tranquil and the people very friendly.

My stay at Joanne's was exactly what I was looking for. It was private, peaceful, and quiet, with a beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all your cooking needs. The house had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I took several nice walks from the place down to the marina, and there is even a nice walking place through the woods just down the road. I loved watching all the migrating waterfowl from the deck on the lake. It was the perfect spot and house to enjoy my "vacation from the world". Joanne was a wonderful host, and responded very quickly to any questions I had. It was so nice to have such a wonderful place to go with my service dog. I will definitely be returning next year. Thank you so much for my wonderful week!!

Joanne’s camp was just as pictured and more! The house had everything we needed to feel right at home. It was decorated in such a cozy style too. We loved the deck and the peace and quiet. We spent a lot of time there bird watching and enjoying the sweet quiet. The portable heater made it comfortable on the cooler nights as well. Being on a quiet bay was great for kayaking, and the fishing there was top notch. We loved hiking, and there were so many parks to explore. Joanne was extremely helpful with our questions. We had a fantastic time!
