Sophie was flexible with check-in. Sophie was flexible with a misunderstanding about a $50 charge per person beyond 6 people, even though the max says 12. I shared with her that she should really just add to the listing page that there is a per person fee above 6 people. It's a simple fix IMO. For the house.... it is literally a place to lay your head. The beds are uncomfortable beyond belief. The roll out couch in the basement is molded. The hot water did not work in the lower level and the handles were broken. We were only informed of no access to the washer and dryer the day of check-in; citing that someone broke it. If you are looking for a super cheap stay - this is your space. If you require luxury do not book this.

Big condo (3 floors) and nice view of the ocean. The beds were like concrete but that seems to be a thing in the Bahamas. Could definitely use a new couch. Great place for multiple families but make sure you know if there is a per person charge because it could quickly become an expensive stay. Since most Airbnbs don’t really do that anymore, we did not see that - but the host worked with us which was nice. We got this place for one night to be close to the airport which was super convenient. Not a whole lot to do around there if you’re only staying for a night. There is a decent beach about a 15 minute walk away. About 20 minute walk will get you into the caves which is a neat attraction for a few minutes. The Plantation is the closest restaurant which has a cool jungley atmosphere but the food and drink is hit or miss.

This place was good for what we used it for, a place to stay the night. Sophie was responsive and gave us a late check out which helped. Without a street number air apartment number it was a little challenging. Ordering food was hard without a way to direct them to the place. We couldn’t find a hair dryer. And not a lot of dishes or kitchen supplies. The view was nice, but you couldn’t walk on the road or beach so need a car. It was close to the airport. There are no bedrooms on the main floor, so hard for people with mobility issues.

Overall it’s a decent place. The bus drives right past and is SO convenient. View is great albeit somewhat blocked by trees. Swimmable beach is like 8 minute walk in right or left direction, but be advised there are no sidewalks on the road. Also, no beach supplies like chairs/ umbrella. Inside was super clean and pictures were accurate. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Big table to enjoy meals. Can’t beat the location close to the airport!

Staying at Sophie's place this week has been an absolute delight! The atmosphere is incredibly serene, and the breathtaking views of the nearby beach are just a minute away. While it was a bit unfortunate that neither of us knew how to drive, we relied on the public buses that conveniently stopped right outside the house. However, they weren't very frequent and only ran until 7 pm, so we often had to resort to taxis, which proved to be quite costly. Despite this inconvenience, Sophie went above and beyond to assist us. We needed more soap, shampoo and conditioner alongside some other groceries which was happily provided for us. Sophie was always there to offer her proactive and prompt support, connecting us with local activities and reliable taxi services. I've never encountered a host who has shown such dedication to their guests. I highly recommend staying at Sophie's place, but I would advise having a driver or car at your disposal to avoid being overcharged by taxi drivers
